21-05-2016:
Today we had a presentation for the secretary of the board of Dare 2 Care. We gave revision lessons. The children revised the things they learned in previous lessons. We did this especially with games, as usual so that the children enjoy the lessons but also to make it enjoyable to watch the for the secretary of the board. The children did well, the secretary was delighted. It was fun to be able to show what the children learned in our lessons so far. It was also nice for us to be able to speak Dutch with other people again. That evening we went out to eat in Sibiu. We had a great and interesting time, talking about the placement centre, the children, traveling and so forth and so on.
22-05-2016:
Today we taught in the morning. We had lessons about the Gruffalo, food and we had a let’s talk lesson. In the afternoon we went to Sibiu with all of the children, the secretary and our mentor. There was a family festival. We could play sports and there were games who were organised. There also was a famous singer: Alina. The children were thrilled about this. We ended the day with eating at KFC. It was nice to get out of the main street in Cornatel, where we practically stayed for the last month. We had a great time! Except for one child who got hurt during one of the activities in the festival. She had to go to the hospital. Her finger was in gypsum when she got back from the hospital, luckily it was nothing really serious and she will be fine.
