Today we taught the children of the primary school. We taught the children of the kindergarten about colours and animals with the brown bear, brown bear what do you see, story and song. In the grades 0 & 2 we also worked with the brown bear song, because we are working with the topic animals. in the highest grades we started a new topic: body parts. This was fun, we taught them body parts through a rap. The children loved it and danced and sang along.

Today seemed to be a regular day, we got up, had breakfast and went off for school to teach the children. In the kindergarten we introduced a new story and a new song. The children were very involved and seemed to really understand a lot already. Comparing to the first English lesson, they have expanded their receptive vocabulary increasingly! We taught the children of grade 0 and 2 about animals and went on with the topic body parts in the highest grade. When we got home, everyone seemed to be quite stressed. We asked what was happening. The staff told us the inspection was coming within an hour. We had to plan activities for the children to keep them busy for more than two hours. We heard this ten minutes before the children came. We thought of games to play with the children and printed out some colouring pages. We played, red elbow and Mr. crocodile, can I cross the field. The children were quite noisy, quite logical, considering they just came home from school. We decided to go and colour the colouring pages with the children, they clearly needed a more calm activity. This went well, it was cosy and time flew. We soon got to diner (a delicious quiche with salad) and after this, we went back upstairs to finish our colouring pages. The people from the inspection came by and they wanted to hear the songs we taught the children. We gathered the children and sang the songs we taught them together, we sang all of them, realizing we already taught them a lot. One woman of the inspection asked questions about the meaning of the songs in Romanian, he could answer all of them. We can be proud of this !
